Tamil Nadu, a step forward in surgical surgery
Breast enlargement by surgical surgery is taking the world as a snowball phenomenon and India is willing to follow the trend. South Indian officials have declared that women in India will soon be able to benefit from free breast surgical enlargement. Somehow regarded as an traditional country , India is making a major step, being probably one of the first introducing this new system.
Breast surgery is an already expanded business all accross India, but is an expensive luxury. The introduction of this new service, available at a clinic in the capital Chennai will enable low income women to undergo the surgery. C Vijaya Baskar, state health minister supports this initiative and highlights that this practice will deter women from undergoing black market surgeries or taking huge loans.
Cancer patients had already benefited from breast reconstruction surgeries at the Clinic. The service is now being extended to patients willing to change their breast size for health or cosmetic concerns.
According to Dr V Ramadevi, while some women undergo this surgery to alleviate their shoulder and back pain, some women seek in breast surgery higher self confidence. The surgery will be both accessible to men and women.
