Godfather Karan Johar wants to direct student Alia Bhatt again

Karan Johar is known to be Alia Bhatt’s Godfather in Bollywood. It is also speculated that Alia discusses everything with Karan regarding her film career. According to rumors, Karan is set to start a new project and he wants Alia to be on board. This venture is going to be produced and directed by Karan Johar himself.

Karan’s new project is currently in its pre-production stage. What is not confirmed is whether Alia will be in the lead role or will make only a special appearance. What would be interesting, in fact, is the presence of Karan’s two other students, Varun and Siddharth, in the film.

Currently Alia is busy shooting for “Gully Boy” with Ranveer Singh and “Brahmastra” opposite Ranbir Kapoor. On the other hand, Karan has decided to take a break from work for a while and give his time to his twins, Roohi and Yash.

We cannot wait to see Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt coming together and creating magic on the big screen once again.

Ajay Devgan wants no compromise for ‘Taanaji’

After ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmavat’, the cinema world will witness another biopic. This time it is the legendary Taanaji, one of the Subedars from the army of Chatterpati Shivaji Maharaja who fought the battle of Sinhagad. It will feature Ajay Devgan as Taanaji. Ajay is also bankrolling the biopic and cleared that he didn’t want to lock any release date as it only adds pressure and could corner filmmakers into compromising with the vision and subject. As for this biopic, Ajay doesn’t want any compromise.

The actor is so passionate about the project that he wanted to bring a 3D version of the film and the news is that his own VFX Company, one of the best in the industry, has already started working on it. Moreover, the pre-production work is in full swing and the shooting is likely to start in September.

However, after the controversy created over ‘Padmavat’, the producer is a bit tensed and is ensuring that the script is authentic. Moreover, he is also concerned that it doesn’t hurt the feelings of anyone from Marathas to Rajputs.  “If one is willing to sit across the table and discuss concerns, both parties can arrive at a solution. Nobody likes to be associated with controversies, and it isn’t a good situation that the industry finds itself in, but such matters can be handled,” said Ajay.

Co-produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Om Raut who is known for his directorial such as ‘Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush” (2015) and the Marathi biopic on Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

Lisa Haydon in the remake of “Tempted to touch”

Actress Lisa Haydon, will be seen in the music video ‘Tempted to touch’ by DJ-producer Zaeden. Sabik Sharma who goes by the stage name Zaeden has made an audio for the official remake of the 2004 track ‘Tempted to touch,’ by Rupee.

This track has been on my playlist since I was a teenager making music out of my bedroom. Rupee and his team trusted in my vision so I started working on the track almost three years ago. Rupee is also expected to visit India around the same time. The release of the video is expected to be on 26 June on Spinnin’ TV”,,” said Zaeden.

Rupee is still humbled by the success of this song and said “It has become an immortal classic. Zaeden and his team’s energy, humility, insight and spirit definitely struck a positive chord with me and I echoed these sentiments to my team. After a lot of hard work from both the parties, we are blessed to have finally reached a destination of incredible musical ingredients, added to a working formula.”

When Lisa Haydon was asked about the music video she said “Zaeden is truly in touch with pop culture today. And that is reflective in this classic remake which made it an obvious choice to want to collaborate on the video with him and his team. It’s rare to work with creative that are so open to everyone bringing their POV to the table and yet maintaining their own individuality and signature style. It’s an amazing track!”

We have to wait and see if Lisa does justice to the song.
