3 Central Reserve Police Force staff suspended over rape allegations
In Jammu and Kashmir, three police staffs had been suspended on Monday after being allegedly accused of rape by a woman. The 24 year old woman stated that she was abducted by the trio, and then raped in a camp by one of them while the two others filmed the act.
The assault came to light after the video was posted online. As a consequence, the victim filed a First Information Report.
The Central Reserve Police Force, spokesperson Ashish Kumar Jha declared that the accused breached security protocols by committing the assault on Bantalab campus. The victim declared that she was on her way to a relative’s place in Jammu when she lost her way. The police officers offered their help to show the route to the victim. However, the latter lured her and forced her onto a camp where the latter was abused and then abandoned.
An investigation had been opened by Jammu- Kashmir police.
