Katrina Kaif’s wax statue revealed at Madame Tussauds in New York

Madame Tussauds Museum at New York Times Square is known for housing wax statues of famous celebrities across the world. Many Bollywood celebrities have been previously given their own place there along with other international celebrities. They have been immortalized in the form of a wax statue. The latest addition to the same has been the wax figurine of Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif. The pictures of her wax statue were recently released online for public viewing.

The 34-year-old actress is seen in Indian attire, the “Lehenga Choli” with minimal makeup. She is seen in a silver glittery choli paired with a flowing sequenced lehenga. She is seen in her remarkable dancing pose. Her makeup is kept little, with rosy cheeks, eyeliner, and nude lips. Her statue is placed next to the statue of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. The exhibit also saw Bollywood flash mobs on top of Big Buses across Times Square.

Some fans, however, are not completely satisfied with the wax statue. They have pointed out a lot of flaws in the wax statue, stating that it did not quite match their idol.

Despite the mixed response, it must be a matter of great pride for the actress to have a place besides the best of the best. The museum also houses wax statues of celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Lionel Messi and Taylor Swift.

Katrina is currently working with SRK on the film “Zero”, and, with Aamir Khan for the film “Thugs of Hindustan”. Both the films are scheduled to release this year.

Rupee is also expected to visit India around the same time. The release of the video is expected to be on 26 June on Spinnin’ TV”,,” said Zaeden.

Rupee is still humbled by the success of this song and said “It has become an immortal classic. Zaeden and his team’s energy, humility, insight and spirit definitely struck a positive chord with me and I echoed these sentiments to my team. After a lot of hard work from both the parties, we are blessed to have finally reached a destination of incredible musical ingredients, added to a working formula.”

When Lisa Haydon was asked about the music video she said “Zaeden is truly in touch with pop culture today. And that is reflective in this classic remake which made it an obvious choice to want to collaborate on the video with him and his team. It’s rare to work with creative that are so open to everyone bringing their POV to the table and yet maintaining their own individuality and signature style. It’s an amazing track!”
