Big B and Taapsee Pannu to share the screen again
Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu will be sharing the screen in another thriller. If reports are to be believed, the two stars have been roped in for Sujoy Ghosh’s mystery titled “Badla”. The movie is a remake of the 2016 Spanish movie “Contratiempo”, also known as “The Invisible Guest”.
According to close sources the shooting should begin by the second week of June. The shooting will take place in London and Scotland. The film is said to revolve around a love interest of the character played by Taapsee that spirals into a murder mystery.
This project will be the second time where Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee will be sharing the screen. The two were earlier seen in “Pink”, a courtroom drama directed by Shoojit Sircar.
When Taapsee was asked about what she felt working with one of Bollywood’s legendary actors this is what she had to say, “It was an honour to work with him. After all, it’s just my third Hindi film. But, I wasn’t intimated at all. I was excited, yes. I am not crazy about any movie star. Mr. Bachchan is an amazing and brilliant actor; everyone knows that. Yes, there was some pressure of performing well. I knew I had to be my best. I had to make sure I don’t stand out like a sore thumb in the frame with him and it may backfire. So I just decided not to think that I am acting opposite Amitabh Bachchan and just do my job. After that it was okay.”
