The “Raazi” actress Alia Bhatt is on a shooting spree. Having wrapped up the shooting for ‘Gully Body’, Alia is set to complete two more movies namely “Kalank” and “Bramastra”. Both of these movies are said to be serious ones. However, even being loaded of all these movies, Alia has also opened up about another film that she is going to do with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Alia mentioned that,” I am definitely going to do a film with Ashwiny because she is a fabulous director. The film is sort of confirmed, but I am not saying it myself, as there will be an official announcement soon”.

She also said that, “They have brought an extremely fun concept to me. I am very excited, as that’s going to be my breakaway film from all the serious ones. Ab main ek light-hearted film karne waali hun”.

As for the filmmaker Ashwiny, she has earned quite a good reputation in the field of movie making. Her last film, “Bareilly ki Barfi”, earned her a Filmfare award. The director has also signed a two-film deal with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.

Actress Sushmita Sen’s popular song, “Dilbar”, created much excitement back in 1999. Fans loved her amazing dance moves, incredible expressions and awesome chemistry with actor Sanjay Kapoor. But guess what? You will get to know a new version of the song in the upcoming movie “Satyameva Jayate”, featuring John Abraham, Aisha Sharma, Manoj Bajpayee and Amruta Khanvilkar

Actress/ dancer Nora Fatehi has been cast to feature in the new version of the song. She tweeted, “An epic song coming your way! I just finished shooting this beautiful iconic 1990s song “Dilbar” with John Abraham! I’m so excited guys! I have a feeling you are going to love this one. Blessed.” She also stated, “Doing a remake of an iconic song is always nerve-racking because you never know if you can actually do justice to it. Sushmita Sen was iconic in the song and I hope I match up to her. I’m so lucky to have got this chance and thankful that Nikkhil Advani sir, Bhushan Kumar sir and Milap Zaveri sir trusted me to be able to do a song like this. The take on the song is very unique and different. It’s going to be one of the most visually stunning songs, with amazing hypnotizing dance moves I am sure this song will become a rage with the audiences”.

Produced by Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, the movie is expected to release on August 15th.

Controversial Godman, Osho Rajneesh’s biopic to be released

Osho Rajneesh’s story has been a matter of much controversy in the past. And since most controversies make good stories, this story is being made into a movie.

Titled, “Osho: The Other Side of the Ocean”, the movie was announced at the Cannes film festival. It will be produced by Subash Gai and directed by Italian director, Lakshen Sucameli in English language for the global market. All the contentions aspects of Osho’s life, from childhood till his death in 1990 will be focused on in the movie.

The story has been co-written by a devotee of Osho, Sucameli along with famed story writer Kamlesh Pandey. The film will be from the point of view of a female journalist in America who followed Osho’s life from his days in America to his death in Pune in the year 1990.

The main character is at first very skeptical towards Osho and his commune but changes her mind through time… In this way I hope to catch the attention of those who still see Osho with a negative attitude, which includes a large part of movie goers, especially in the States,” said Sucameli.

While his teachings still continue to influence millions of people around the world, the movie is sure to garner both positive and negative attention.
