It seems 2018 is the year of star kids (and nepotism). Vogue India just launched their August edition with Suhana Khan on the cover.
SRK took to Twitter and Instagram to post a picture of himself holding the magazine with the caption, “Holding her in my arms again thanks to Vogue. ‘What imperfect carriers of love we are…’ except when it comes to our children. So sending u all my love & a big hug. Hello Suhana Khan!”
Gauri Khan was not far behind in sharing her pride, she wrote, “Thank you @VOGUEIndia for Suhana’s shoot… Photographed by: @Errikos_Andreou Styled by: @Anaita_Adajania Hair: @YianniTsapatori.” Sharing the video of the shoot, she added, “Awesome shoot with Suhana… @VOGUEIndia. Photographed by: @Errikos_Andreou Styled by: @Anaita_Adajania Hair: @YianniTsapatori.”
Suhana revealed that she had always intended to be an actress and was eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to star in films by saying, “I don’t think there was any one moment when I decided. Since I was young, I’d do all these accents and impressions. But my parents only realized I was serious about acting when they saw a performance of mine for the first time.”
But of course, indian audiences went berserk the moment Suhana’s cover was launched. Some tweeted, “I’m actually a big time Shahrukh Khan fan. But why is Suhana Khan on the cover of Vogue? It isn’t even celebrity bashing because she isn’t one yet. Her father is a star. So my dad is a CA, will ICAI put me on their monthly magazine cover? @VOGUEIndia”.
Vogue India says, “Hello, Suhana Khan”; the world echoes, “Nepotism Rocks!”
