The Congress president lashed out at Prime minister Narendra Modi for keeping silent on the recent incidents of rape in India. Rahul Gandhi was in a fighting mood and said that the daughters on India need to be saved from BJP.

He taunted the Modi government over the slogan “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, insisting during his speech at the Mahila Adhikar Sammelan in Delhi that the BJP ministers are a threat to women in the country. “What happened against women in these last 4 years is something which didn’t happen even in last 70 years,” claimed the Congress president according to Times of India.
Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP want only men in the parliament and the long awaiting Women’s Reservation Bill is long overdue. He promised to pass the bill once elected.
