Indian are asking for justice for the girls rape at Muzaffar Shelter home

According to media reports in India and SP Deoria Rohan P Kany admission, women and girls rescued from different places were continuously sent to Ma Vindhyavasini Balika Sanrakshan Grih in Deoria by police.

Over 450 girls were sent to the shelter operated by Girija Tripathi who obeyed to what she considered as police harassment. SP Rohan Kanay who took charge of Police in the region in April 2018, confirmed he received two letters from the district magistrate ordering police not to send girls to this shelter home. But it appeared that despite his two directives to police stations, these orders were not followed by officers in charge at Chauri Bazar and Barhaj police stations. Two girls were sent.

Ranjana Tiwari, member of the Welfare committee of the district, also confirmed that police officers did not follow despite eight letters were sent to the DM, SP and Child Welfare Board.
