324 lives lost so far in Kerala floods

Kerala CM Office has confirmed that 324 people lost their life since the 29th of May 2018 after heavy rains which resulted in massive floods in various districts. Since 9th August, 164 died in these devastating floods and landslides.

The worst flood in 100 years. 80 dams have been opened, more than 223 130 shifted in 1500 relief camps. Indian Medical Association has urged all the private hospitals to provide free treatment to those who are coming from relief camps and flood-affected areas. Punjab chief minister has announced Rs 10 crore relief for flood-hit Kerala

Heavy spells of rains are expected during the weekends due the southwest monsoon.
