A 60-year-old was arrested in Sahibabad for killing a 4 year boy for resisting his sexual assault. Gone missing in December 2016, the boy’s decomposed body was recovered from a wooden chest on the rooftop of a neighbour’s house in June 18.
On Sunday, it had been reported that “Rajendra Shah”, the name of the old man, confessed his crime. He was staying in a house, rent to him by the boy’s father en 2016. Shah was staying on the ground floor of the boy’s house with his wife, her sister and an eight-year-old nephew. Shah’s family was asked to vacate the house few months after the boy gone missing. “We were busy searching for my son and never found anything unusual like blood etc in (Shah)’s room. We never got any foul smell even as the body was on the rooftop,” the father said to Hindustantimes.
It is being said that Shah was drunk on the day of the crime and that he killed the boy who was resisting his sexual assault and was making much noise.
Shah seems to be mentally unstable and he was untraceable after he left the house. Police search him in Delhi, Haryana and Bihar but always slip. He was finally arrested in Sahibabad.
