A 15-year-old girl was killed on Monday when a speeding Delhi Jal Board water tanker hit her and her 13-year-old cousin who “crushed below the waist” as they came under the wheels. The two girls walked a distance of one kilometre daily from their home to go to school in Janakpuri, Delhi.
Speed killed! Once again a crazy driver of a Delhi Jal Board water tanker was involved in a accident killing this time a 15-year-old girl, Nagma. The girls were on the road at around 6.30am on Monday when the accident happened at a traffic junction near Mata Chanan Devi Hospital in Janakpuri.
She was killed on the spot in front of her father. Her cousin Samreen is fighting for life and is actually in ICU.
According to a police officer, the driver, Dharmender was allegedly driving “rashly” and at a “very high speed” which led to the accident. He had been arrested but it is confirmed he was not drunk.
