Sanjay Dutt will be starring in an upcoming film Torbaaz, which will also be starring a new face in B-Town. And she is none other than Lizaa Malik. The actress is definitely thrilled for her debut.
Talking about the film, the actress said that because it was Sanjay Dutt’s film, she readily accepted to star in it, irrespective of being the lead role or not. Lizaa will be portraying the role of a young Afghani girl in the social drama. Lizaa said that it was not an easy journey for her, as, playing an Afghani girl required a lot of preparation in terms of dialect, intonation, language and more. Lizaa had to go through a lot of tutorials and classes in order to be fully prepared for her role. Even emotionally, playing a girl in the tense atmosphere of Afghanistan needed a lot of efforts. She mentioned how she opted for a complete natural look, with no makeup on, to do justice to the role. The stills released from the sets of the film convey just that.
Torbaaz is a movie based on the child suicide bombers in Afghanistan, who are made to believe that death is the way to glory and martyrdom, and that killing is a virtue.
Directed by Girish Malik and produced by Raju Chadda and Rahul Mittal, the film is set to be released in November.
