Hrithik Roshan has undergone a major transformation for his upcoming film role. On teacher’s day, he unveiled the first look poster of Super 30 that is based on a true story. Hrithik portrays the role of Professor Anand Kumar. The latter is a famous mathematician who changed the lives of students in Bihar with his successful program called, Super 30. He selects and coaches 30 bright, underprivileged students every year for the IIT entrance exams.
In the first look poster, Hrithik appears in a completely new avatar with an unkempt beard and a rugged look that has awed fans. In his teacher avatar, he is seen sporting an intense look that looks extremely convincing. The only thing more interesting that Hrithik’s transformation is the tagline on the poster that reads, “Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahin Banega…” It looks like the film is taking a dig at the concept of nepotism and its existence in every corner of the world.
Hrithik took to twitter to release this poster with no caption, letting only the image do the talking. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and is directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame. The film is set to be released on 25th January 2019 and will be clashing with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Emraan Hashmi’s Cheat India.
It will be interesting to see how Anand Kumar has been portrayed in the film considering the recent accusations against him of being a fraud.
