Amitabh Bachchan pays Rs 70 crore in tax for the financial year of 2018-19

Amitabh Bachchan has proven time and again that he is unbeatable in every domain. After his supremacy of the silver screen for several years, he now has earned the title of the highest taxpayer in the Bollywood Film Industry. For the financial year of 2018-19, Amitabh’s tax payment amounted to an enormous sum of money of Rs. 70 crore. When approached his spokesperson confirmed the news and stated, “Yes, Mr Bachchan has paid 70 crore tax for the financial year 2018-19.”

From further updates, Big B also paid off loans of 2,084 farmers in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Reports suggest that he wanted help the farmers of the country by ensuring them as much freedom of money as he can provide and therefore, he decided to pay off their loans. Amitabh was also one of the first actors when it came to donating to the families of the Pulwama Attack martyrs. Amitabh Bachchan donated Rs 10 lakh each to the families.
