Ahi Hawaiian poke is an excellent entree at a party dinner or can be served as an appetizer at a cocktail party. The recipe, quick and easy to make, will delight your guests.
Ingredients (for 10 people)
900 g fresh tuna
1 small white onion
3 green onions
2 cm fresh ginger
3 cloves of garlic
12 cl of soy sauce
1 C. tablespoon of sesame oil
1 C. coffee pepper flakes
1 C. coffee with chilli sauce
1 C. sea salt or salt from Hawaii
Preparation
(Preparation 15 mins, Ready in 2hr 15mins)
STEP 1
Cut your tuna into dice/cubes (poke in Hawaiian) then reserve cool.
STEP 2
Peel and finely slice the onions. Peel and squeeze the garlic. Peel and grate the ginger.
STEP 3
Make a mixture with all the ingredients in a large bowl and add the fish last. Mix again to coat well.
STEP 4
Reserve in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then serve fresh.
