As for most garlic butter sauces, this recipe needs a few ingredients and can be used as a sauce over pasta or as a dip for seafood, namely steamed crab legs or lobster. The sauce is great with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese and adds a lot of flavour to a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1/4 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt

Instructions

(Preparation and cooking time: 10 mins)

STEP 1
In a small saucepan melt butter, add garlic and saute until cooked. Add dried oregano and dried basil and stir until heated through.

STEP 2
Add the fresh lemon juice and the salt

STEP 3
After adding the fresh parsley, serve warm.
