The avocado basil cucumber bites are an easy treat that will keep you feeling light, fresh, and cool until dinner. The appetizer is just as delicious as any of the fried foods and is way healthier.
Ingredients (for 12 persons)
1 ripe avocado
1/2 cup basil leaves
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ALOHA Daily Good
1 plum tomato, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Yoghurt for garnish (optional)
1 medium cucumber
Instructions
(Preparation time: 10 mins)
STEP 1
Blend avocado, basil, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a food processor or blender until smooth.
STEP 2
Cut 12 cucumber slices, about one-fourth of an inch each.
STEP 3
Plate the slices and top with the avocado basil spread.
STEP 4
Add a touch of yoghurt on top for garnish, if desired. If you aren’t serving these immediately it is best to refrigerate them.
