Katrina Kaif finally opened up about her break up with Ranbir Kapoor and how she came to terms with it and assess it in retrospect. She has also opened up about how the last two years alone have helped her find herself in an interview with Vogue India.
Katrina said, “I now see it (the break-up) as a blessing because I was able to recognize my patterns, through processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective. It’s probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on. And when you focus on yourself, often, the first thing you realise is that you don’t really know yourself. It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you are seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments and then accepting that you don’t really know who you are.”
She even talked about her introverted personality, saying that she does not blame others and takes full responsibility for her sensitivity. She mentioned that if someone approaches her with a lack of warmth and affection, the walls surely will go up.
Katrina has surely had a great year, even professionally, with huge projects like Thugs of Hindostan, Zero and Bharat.
