Lok Sabha Elections 2019: exit poll results suggest thumping victory for BJP

The final verdict of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be out on 23rd May 2019 but the opinion poll and exit poll results are out and most of them suggest a thumping victory for the Modi led BJP party. In this article we have brought to you the exit poll results predicted by different news channels. The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 was conducted in seven phases across India.

The exit poll results by most of the channels predict that Narendra Modi will have a landslide victory when votes will be counted on 23rd May. Experts also stated that if the prediction of the Exit polls go wrong then Narendra Modi and his BJP party might have to take support from outside to form the government.

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had a 45-minute long meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and discussed the formation of non-BJP government in case of a hung verdict. During the meeting he also discussed about the future strategies of the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan). TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee said that she does not trust such surveys. After the exit poll results predicted an easy win for BJP, 21 opposition parties will be meeting Election Commission officials to address their concerns about the EVM and voter verified paper trail machines.

A day after the exit polls were announced BJP party workers have already started preparations to celebrate the Lok Sabha election results in a grand manner even before the actual results are announced.

The Congress party workers had a grim look on their face while some even rejected the forecast predicted by the exit polls and said a false atmosphere has been created by the exit polls.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi sent out an audio message to her party workers asking them not to fall for rumors that are aimed at drowning their spirit ahead of the final counting of votes on 23rd May. While addressing her party workers she stated that these exit polls are just an attempt to discourage you and break your determination.

It would be interesting to see how close these exit poll result predictions will be closer to the actual count of votes after the final count is released on 23rd May.
