Mira Rajput Kapoor has finally made her television debut with the latest commercial of the cosmetic brand, Olay. The 23-year old star wife has shown her prowess in screen presence with her latest commercial, proving that she is more than just another wife of a Bollywood star, who, in this case, happens to be Shahid Kapoor. Mira is already the mother of one-and-a-half year old, Misha, is expecting another baby soon.
In the commercial, Mira goes over the joys of motherhood, how she does not get time for herself as she gets lost in the duties and responsibilities of motherhood. She shared her first commercial on her instagram page, with the caption, “Being a mother does not make you stop being yourself right? I took the #Olay #SkinTransformation #28DayChallenge. Here’s my reborn story…what’s yours? @olayindia”.
While the commercial debut is commendable, Mira has become the target of numerous trolls. Many people have attacked her for being too young to do an anti-ageing cream advertisement. Some of them have also trolled her for jumping on the bandwagon of flaunting pregnancies or post-pregnancies, like Kareena Kapoor Khan. Some have even gone ahead and accused her of eating off Shahid’s name for money. She was also trolled for being ironical, since she had earlier commented that she would not leave her children for work.
However, husband Shahid has shown his full support to his wife by commenting, “Who is this stunner?” on her post. As long as the couple is happy there is no space for hatred, right?
