Netflix’s ‘Little Things Season 2’ Continues to Make Insightful Observation about Life’s Crucial Things

The first episode of Netflix’s ‘Little Things Season 2’ has aired on Oct 5th, and it was convincing enough to make us talk about this slice-of-life show. Produced by Dice Media and written by Dhruv Sehgal, the male lead of the show, season 2 talks about a life beyond the honeymoon.

The show features an unmarried couple Dhruv and Kavya (Mithila Palkar) juggling the real world issues and their fairytale relationship. The show that will have 8 episodes each of 22 minutes might feel a bit overdone to some but many of us would be able to relate with it. It will have events like Dhruv being an impulsive male left his job because he is not feeling the spark while Kavya earning more than Dhruv to ensure the lifestyle they lead will maintain.

When asked what makes ‘Little Things’ different in this digital age when everyone is talking about the similar issues, Mithila replied, “ Our show is about little things, it’s not dramatic. There’s no deliberate conflict in it. We have not gone out of our way to make it more dramatic. It is about trying to find fun in the mundane”.

While Mithila thinks that freshness and newness come with the circumstances Dhruv says that he writes with his own life experiences. For both of them playing the same characters is not at all repetitive and exhausting. And that is what they want to convey for the real life.
