Taapsee Pannu has already proved her acting potential. The actress is now well established in Bollywood and enjoys the success of her recent releases ‘Mulk’ and ‘Maanmariziyan’. It seems that she decided to take a break from Bollywood and go back to the south.
The ‘Pink’ star has signed a thriller with director Ashwin Saravanan and the first poster of the film is very appealing. It shows a dark background with Taapsee in a wheelchair in the front. The poster cleared that it will be going to be an all Taapsee film with probably a good nerve wrecking script and cinematography. Since Ashwin is famous for the same, the audience won’t be expecting anything less.
Produced by ‘Y Not’ Studios and Reliance Entertainment, this bilingual (Tamil/Telugu) will mark as the return of Taapsee to South Indian filmdom after three years.
The ‘Maya’ director told to a leading daily that ‘Game Over’ will be a quirky thriller “set inside a house. It’ll feature very few characters. Ever since I saw Pink, I’ve wanted to work with Taapsee. I’m glad everything fell in place for this project and I’m excited to be working with her. She’s someone who is not really screen-conscious and can really get under the skin of a character.”
However, he cleared that it is not a women-centric film but has Taapsee as the strong woman protagonist. Ashwin has previously directed a Tamil paranormal thriller ‘Maya’ starring Nayanthara, and SJ Suryah in ‘Iravaakaalam’.
Taapsee’s Next is ‘Game Over’, the first look is quirky and thrilling
